Another warm and breezy day will be on tap for the day as light
and variable winds become marginally breezy this afternoon with
gusts up to 25 mph. Low dew points in the mid to upper 30s could
lead to some drier conditions this afternoon with RH values
expected to be in the 25-30 percent range. However, increasing
precipitation chances between 6pm to 11pm will keep most of fire
weather concerns at bay with moderate fire danger expected across
northwestern IA. Otherwise, the poor smoke dispersal this morning
will improve by the mid-morning as the northwesterly winds
increase.
