.DISCUSSION...Strong southwest winds are expected today ahead of
a late season spring storm and its associated cold front. Shower
chances hold off until evening when the cold front is expected to
push through shortly after sunset. As colder air filters in,
showers will change over to snow by late evening and continue much
of the night.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (25-35 percent).
Max temperature.....56-61.
Surface winds.......Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 35
                    mph in the afternoon.

.TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (70-80 percent). Chance of showers
                    in the evening. Slight chance of thunderstorms
                    through the night. Snow showers likely overnight.
Min temperature.....28-33.
Surface winds.......Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to
                    around 35 mph in the evening becoming west and
                    decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after sunset.
