...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM HST THIS EVENING
FOR THE ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM HST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in
  streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 510 PM HST, radar indicated the heaviest rain was moving
    over East Honolulu, with rain falling at a rate of up to 2
    inches per hour. Showers elsewhere over Oahu have tapered off
    but streams remain elevated from the rain. Additional showers
    will move over Oahu from the west shortly with rain fall
    rates up to 1 inch per hour.
  - This advisory is for the entire island of Oahu.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone
to flooding.

A Flood Watch is also in effect until 6 am HST.

This advisory may need to be extended beyond 715 PM HST if flooding
persists.
