The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Grimes County in southeastern Texas...
  Southwestern Houston County in southeastern Texas...
  Northeastern Madison County in southeastern Texas...
  Northwestern San Jacinto County in southeastern Texas...
  Southwestern Trinity County in southeastern Texas...
  Walker County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 613 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate
  is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Huntsville, Trinity, Point Blank, Riverside, Huntsville State
  Park, Sebastopol, Crabbs Prairie and Oakhurst.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Interstate 45 East Frontage Road at Nelson Creek, River Oaks Drive
at Prairie Branch, Interstate 45 E Frontage Road at S Bedias Creek,
State Highway 75 at Town Branch, Sunset Lake Road at McDonald Creek,
North Freeway Service Rd near Bedias Creek and State Highway 75 at
Town Branch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
