The National Weather Service in League City has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Texas...
  Polk County in southeastern Texas...
  San Jacinto County in southeastern Texas...
  Southeastern Walker County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 743 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Reports of flooding along SH
  150,  SH 156, and FM980 in San Jacinto County and along HWY 59 in
  Polk County. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen.
  Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
  warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Livingston, Shepherd, Cut And Shoot, New Waverly, Coldspring,
  Point Blank, Goodrich, Seven Oaks, Lake Livingston State Park,
  West Livingston, Alabama-Coushatta Reservation, Leggett,
  Evergreen, Moscow, Segno and Oakhurst.

deaths occur in vehicles.
