...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN GRANT AND
SOUTHEASTERN OWEN COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...

At 750 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Owenton, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
         vegetation.

Locations impacted include...
Owenton, Elk Lake, New Columbus, Beechwood, Harmony, Elmer Davis
Lake, and Natlee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Residents in these areas should remain alert. If this storm becomes
stronger, then a warning may be needed.
