.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions this morning will give way to scattered showers
and thunderstorms toward mid to late afternoon. The line of storms
should weaken as they reach near I-57 by mid-evening. Southwest
winds of 5 to 15 mph today will turn northwest late this afternoon
west of the IL river as a cold front moves eastward into the
state. Initial vent rates today will climb into the Good
catagory north of I-70, but fall off to fair to poor ventilation
rates on Sunday.
