...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM CDT
FOR NORTH CENTRAL CHERRY COUNTY...

At 623 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Kilgore, or 18
miles west of Valentine, moving north at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Kilgore, Nenzel, Merritt Reservoir, Crookston, and Anderson Bridge
State Wildlife Management Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 165 and 187.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 113 and 132.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.
