...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Louisiana...

  Bayou Des Cannes Near Eunice

  Calcasieu River Near Kinder

  Calcasieu River Near Salt Water Barrier

  Calcasieu River Near Oberlin

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Louisiana...

  Bundick Creek At Bundick Lake

  Whisky Chitto Creek Near Mittie

  West Fork of The Calcasieu River At Sam Houston Jones SP

  Calcasieu River near White Oak Park

  Calcasieu River Near Glenmora

For the Bundick Creek...including Bundick Lake...Major flooding is
forecast.
For the Whisky Chitto Creek...including Mittie...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Calcasieu River...including Glenmora, Oakdale, Oberlin,
Kinder, White Oak Park, Salt Water Barrier...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Bayou Des Cannes near Eunice.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor flooding begins along the bayou with
  a few structures right along the bayou threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:15 PM CDT Thursday was 16.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.6
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 18.2 feet, Carpenter`s Bridge Road is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.0 feet Saturday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Bundick Creek at Bundick Lake.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 100.0 feet, Major flooding can be expected. Numerous
  homes and camps are flooded around the lake. Water covers Highway
  394 on the west end of the lake. Highway 113 downstream of
  Bundicks Lake is subject to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 98.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:00 PM CDT Thursday was 98.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 100.0
    feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage late Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 97.0 feet.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Kinder.

* WHEN...From Friday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, If gage reading at Kinder reaches 18 feet,
  flooding begins to cut off some of the roads around Topsy in
  Northwest Jefferson Davis Parish.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 18.5
    feet early Sunday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Salt Water Barrier.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Minor marshland flooding occurs. Flooding
  also begins on River Road in north Lake Charles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - There is no current observed data.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a
    maximum value of 4.0 feet early Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Oberlin.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Moderate flooding will occur with several
  access roads to the river flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0
    feet Wednesday morning. It will then rise to 17.0 feet
    Wednesday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...West Fork of The Calcasieu River at Sam Houston Jones SP.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 5.0 feet, Low spots on South Perkins Ferry Road have
  water on it. Water is over some boat docks on South Perkins Ferry
  Road and over boat ramps at Sam Houston Jones State Park.
  Extensive marshland flooding will occur upstream and downstream
  from the park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - There is no current observed data.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage early
    tomorrow afternoon to 2.6 feet Sunday morning. It will then
    rise to 2.8 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will fall to 2.4
    feet Monday morning. It will then rise to 2.8 feet Monday
    evening. It will fall to 2.6 feet Tuesday morning then rise
    again.
  - Flood stage is 5.0 feet.

  Road. Cars should be moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:20 PM CDT Thursday the stage was -0.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with a
    maximum value of 3.5 feet Thursday, April 18. It will rise
    above flood stage Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 2.0 feet.

  Beechwood Church is subject to flooding.

  - At 6:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:45 PM CDT Thursday was 14.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5
    feet Sunday morning.
