The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Beauregard Parish in southwestern Louisiana...
  South central Vernon Parish in west central Louisiana...

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 929 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near De Ridder to near Singer, moving east at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  De Ridder, Rosepine, Dry Creek, Singer, Longville, Tulla, and
  Bundick Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.
