...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN MONROE AND NORTHERN ST. CLAIR COUNTIES...

At 524 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over O`Fallon,
moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Belleville, O`Fallon, East St. Louis, Collinsville, Fairview Heights,
Cahokia, Swansea, Shiloh, Waterloo, Columbia, Mascoutah, Pevely,
Centreville, Lebanon, Freeburg, Caseyville, Washington Park, Dupo,
Millstadt, and New Baden.

This includes Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 9 and 27.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southwestern
Illinois. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until midnight CDT
for southwestern Illinois...and east central Missouri.

building.
