...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS
MORNING FOR WEST CENTRAL CRITTENDEN, SOUTHERN CROSS AND ST. FRANCIS
COUNTIES...

At 554 AM CDT, Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen across the
warning area. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Forrest City, Wynne, Parkin, Madison, Palestine, Village Creek
  State Park, Caldwell, Crawfordsville, Edmondson, Colt, Wheatley,
  Widener, Anthonyville, Jennette, New Home, Simsboro, Crow Creek,
  New Castle, Cottonwood Corner and Round Pond.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
