977 FNUS56 KMFR 101210 FWFMFR Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California National Weather Service Medford, OR 510 AM PDT Fri May 10 2024 .DISCUSSION...A summer like pattern will result in the warmest temperatures of the year so far today into the weekend. Gusty east breezes will persist this morning, with east winds diminishing along the coast and interior westside valleys this afternoon as the thermal trough moves inland. Dry and very warm weather away from the coast is expected Saturday. Meanwhile at the coast relative humidities will be higher with low clouds that could give way to some sun in the afternoon. A weak disturbance will bring slight cooling Sunday with a slight chance of late afternoon and early evening thunderstorms over portions of northern California. The warm and dry weather will persist into next week.
