.DISCUSSION...Next week, there is high confidence for near normal
to slightly below normal temperatures Monday and Tuesday. This is
followed by high pressure and a return to above normal temperatures
and dry weather Wednesday. Then Thursday into Friday, the majority
(60%) of models favor a weak trough moving southeastward into
the northern Pacific Northwest. Expect continued warm temperatures
and low chance (5% or less) of rain. Dry and warm weather is likely
on Saturday with a weak ridge of high pressure over the area.
Additional disturbances may move into the area from the northwest
and southwest on Sunday. Confidence is low on the details for this
period. However, models support a 10-20% chance for showers and a
low (10-15%) chance for thunderstorms beginning late Sunday afternoon.
