  Waters from Cape Lookout  to Surf City NC from 20 to 40 nm...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 336 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Surf City,
  moving northeast at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Atlantic Beach, The Center Of Bogue Sound, Northwest Places, Salter
  Path, Ar342, Beaufort Inlet, The Vicinity Of Pine Knoll Shores,
  Ar320, Bogue Inlet, R-8 Buoy, Ar355, The Vicinity Of Emerald Isle
  Bridge, Ar345, Beaufort, Cape Lookout Bight, Emerald Isle, Ar315,
