...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKDT
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow with low visibility expected.
  Total snow accumulations of up to one inch. Winds gusting as
  high as 50 mph. Visibility one quarter mile or less, with
  periods of blizzard conditions.

* WHERE...Eastern Beaufort Sea Coast.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 6 AM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. Whiteout conditions
  are possible. Snow drifts will form.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. This will make travel very
difficult or impossible.

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow with low visibility. Additional
  snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as
  35 mph will reduce visibility to one half miles or less at
  times.

* WHERE...Central Brooks Range.

* WHEN...Until midnight AKDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas
  of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Snow
  drifts will form.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...South winds will turn north this evening and
  increase causing blowing snow. The strong north winds and
  blowing snow will continue into this evening and then decrease
  late tonight with visibility improving late tonight.
