...GUSTY SHOWERS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL MORROW...NORTHWESTERN
UMATILLA...BENTON AND SOUTHEASTERN YAKIMA COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM
PDT...

At 217 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from Sunnyside to 9 miles south of Echo. Movement was north
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, Hermiston, Sunnyside, Prosser, West
Richland, Grandview, Umatilla, Benton City, Mabton, Stanfield,
Irrigon, Echo, Plymouth, Badger, Island View, Paterson, Satus, and
Highland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions
they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a
funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the
National Weather Service.
