...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL CADDO AND SOUTHERN
BOSSIER PARISHES THROUGH 700 PM CDT...

At 616 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Shreveport, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shreveport, Bossier City, Greenwood, Taylortown, Forbing, and
Barksdale Air Force Base.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
northwestern Louisiana.
