...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE COASTAL WATERS OF WESTERN PUERTO
RICO INTO THE MONA PASSAGE...

  Coastal Waters OF Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Coastal Waters OF Southwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Mona Passage Southward to 17N...

At 701 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent
lightning. This thunderstorm was located over the coastal waters of
western Puerto Rico into the Mona Passage. The thunderstorm was
nearly stationary.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
