...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN DECATUR AND GRADY
COUNTIES THROUGH 345 AM EDT...

At 304 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Havana, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Bainbridge, Cairo, Whigham, Attapulgus, Climax, Capel, Rocky Hill,
Harrells Still, Laingkat, Calvary, Princes Still, Peoples Still,
Amsterdam, Nickleville, Vada, Akridge, Grady Co A/p, Moncrief,
Elpino, and Faceville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
