High pressure has moved east of the region as a surface low
pressure system begins to develop across the Tennessee Valley.
This low will move north into the area during the day on
Wednesday, allowing for scattered showers and thunderstorms to
overspread the area during the afternoon and evening hours.
Wrap around moisture will keep showers in the forecast through
Thursday with cooler than normal temperatures expected. However,
temperatures will trend back up by Friday into the upcoming
weekend, with warm and muggy conditions expected both Saturday and
Sunday.
