THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE CUSTER
COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT.

THE LEGION LAKE WILDFIRE IS ACTIVELY BURNING IN CUSTER STATE
PARK AND EAST OF THE PARK. RESIDENTS EAST OF CUSTER STATE PARK
AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 79...FROM LH ROAD SOUTH TO BUFFALO GAP ARE
ASKED TO EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF
FAIRBURN AND BUFFALO GAP EAST OF HIGHWAY 79. USE THE FOLLOWING
ROUTES: HIGHWAY 79 NORTH TO HERMOSA. A SHELTER IS AVAILABLE AT
THE HERMOSA SCHOOL AT 11 4TH STREET. ALL OTHERS SHOULD AVOID THIS
AREA. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
OR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.
