EVENING...

* LOCATION...LOWER MARYLAND AND VIRGINIA EASTERN SHORE AND VIRGINIA BEACH.

* TIMING...THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...THE MOST LIKELY TIME FOR STRONG
  RIP CURRENTS IS A COUPLE HOURS ON EITHER SIDE OF LOW TIDE.

* SURF OR RIP CURRENT RISK...NEARSHORE LARGE BREAKING WAVES OF 4 TO
  5 FT WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS SURF CONDITIONS AND A HIGH RISK OF
  RIP CURRENTS. DO NOT ENTER OR APPROACH THE WATER DUE TO THE RISK
  OF BEING SWEPT AWAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IS ISSUED WHEN THREATS SUCH AS RIP
CURRENTS...LONGSHORE CURRENTS...SNEAKER WAVES AND OTHER HAZARDS
CREATE LIFE-THREATENING CONDITIONS IN THE SURF ZONE. CAUTION SHOULD
BE USED WHEN IN OR NEAR THE WATER.
