* LOCATIONS...SENSITIVE COASTLINE ALONG THE POTOMAC RIVER IN ST.
  MARY`S COUNTY, INCLUDING ST. GEORGE ISLAND.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...AROUND A FOOT ABOVE NORMAL.

* TIMING...WITHIN A FEW HOURS OF HIGH TIDE THROUGH TONIGHT. THE
  NEXT HIGH TIDE AT POINT LOOKOUT WILL BE AT 5:23 PM THIS
  AFTERNOON. THE NEXT HIGH TIDE AT PINEY POINT WILL BE AT 6:23
  PM THIS EVENING. THE NEXT HIGH TIDE AT COLTONS POINT WILL BE
  AT 6:59 PM THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...WATER IS EXPECTED TO GO OVER A PORTION OF THE
  BULKHEAD NEAR THE STRAITS POINT BRIDGE, AND ALSO COVER YARDS
  IN THE ST GEORGES CREEK AND ST MARYS RIVER AREAS. MINOR
  SHORELINE INUNDATION IS POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.

  HIGH TIDE AT WASHINGTON CHANNEL WILL BE AT 11:31 AM. THE NEXT
  HIGH TIDE AT ALEXANDRIA WILL BE AT 11:49 AM.

* IMPACTS...SHORELINE INUNDATION IS EXPECTED ALONG PORTIONS OF
  THE SEAWALL ADJACENT TO OHIO DRIVE AND THE HAINS POINT LOOP
  ROAD. WATER IS EXPECTED TO APPROACH THE CURB NEAR THE
  INTERSECTION OF KING STREET AND STRAND STREET IN ALEXANDRIA.
  MINOR SHORELINE INUNDATION IS POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE.
