TEMPERATURES FOR NOVEMBER WERE WELL ABOVE NORMAL, BUT THE MONTH WAS
DRIER THAN NORMAL. IN FACT, IT WAS THE 4TH WARMEST NOVEMBER ON
RECORD. 0.06 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FELL IN GLASGOW DURING THE
MONTH, WHICH WAS 0.34 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THE HIGHEST AMOUNT FELL
ON THE 14TH WITH 0.06 INCHES, AND THIS WAS ALSO THE ONLY MEASUREABLE
RAINFALL OF THE MONTH. LIGHT SNOW WAS RECORDED ON 3 DAYS OF THE
MONTH, ALTHOUGH ONLY A TRACE WAS RECORDED ON EACH OF THESE INSTANCES.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 39.8 DEGREES, WHICH WAS
10.5 DEGREES WARMER THAN NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH WAS 50.6 DEGREES,
WITH AN AVERAGE LOW OF 29.1 DEGREES. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE OF THE
MONTH WAS 67 DEGREES WHICH WAS REACHED ON THE 3RD AND THE 9TH. THE
COLDEST TEMPERATURE OF THE MONTH WAS 21 DEGREES REACHED ON 5
DAYS...THE 17TH, 18TH, 19TH, 26TH, AND 30TH. OF NOTE IS THIS IS THE
ONLY NOVEMBER ON RECORD IN WHICH THE LOW TEMPERATURE DID NOT DROP
BELOW 20 DEGREES. PREVIOUSLY, THE WARMEST LOW TEMPERATURE DURING
NOVEMBER WAS 18 DEGREES, WHICH OCCURRED IN 1999 AND 1962.

THE WIND GUSTED TO 30 MPH OR GREATER ON 11 DAYS, WITH A PEAK WIND
OF 48 MPH ON THE 6TH.

LOOKING AHEAD TO DECEMBER, NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES START THE MONTH
IN THE LOWER 30S WITH LOWS IN THE LOWER TEENS. BY THE END OF THE
MONTH, NORMAL HIGHS ARE IN THE LOWER 20S WITH LOWS IN THE MID SINGLE
DIGITS. MOISTURE FOR THE MONTH AVERAGES 0.38 INCHES WITH AN AVERAGE
SNOWFALL OF 8.0 INCHES.
