A PERSISTENT UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE POSITIONED OVER THE
PACIFIC NORTHWEST COASTLINE RESULTED IN WARMER THAN AVERAGE
TEMPERATURES FOR HAVRE IN FEBRUARY 2015. TEMPERATURES WERE WARMEST
DURING THE SECOND WEEK OF THE MONTH. A NEW DAILY RECORD HIGH
TEMPERATURE OF 55 DEGREES WAS SET ON THE 13TH. A DAILY RECORD WARM
MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 37 DEGREES WAS TIED ON THE 7TH. A SERIES OF
ARCTIC COLD FRONTS DURING THE FIRST AND LAST WEEKS OF THE MONTH
BROUGHT THE AVERAGE MONTHLY TEMPERATURE DOWN TO 24.8 FAHRENHEIT...
YIELDING THE 32ND WARMEST FEBRUARY OF RECORD. MONTHLY TOTAL
PRECIPITATION WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE WHILE SNOWFALL WAS BELOW
AVERAGE.
