..Data for Little Rock for December 2017...

.Summary...
The month of December at Little Rock finished right at average. The
warmest periods were during the first five days of the month, and
during the 18th through 22nd, when daily temperatures were running
around five to ten degrees above average. This changed significantly,
with much colder air pushing in to the region around the 23rd and
24th, and the final eight days of the month were much colder.

Rainfall was above average for the first month since August. It was
also the wettest December in two years. Nearly all of the rain fell
from the 16th through the 23rd.

For the first time in two years, no snow fell during the month.

.Monthly Temperatures...
The average high temperature was the warmest since 2015. However,
the average low and monthly temperatures were the coolest since
2013.

.Daily Temperatures...
Daily temperatures were above average on 16 days, average on two
days, and below average on 13 days.

.Monthly Rainfall...
Rainfall was above average. It was the wettest December since 2015.

On the 22nd, the 4.33 inches of rain that fell marked the wettest
December day at Little Rock since 2009, and the 6th wettest calendar
