1012 AM CDT Thu Jun 22 2017

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Cindy continues to move inland
and weaken with swells generated from this tropical cyclone
subsiding below 6 feet. Marine conditions will briefly improve the
rest of the morning, however, south winds are expected to
increase across Laguna Madre this afternoon and over the Gulf
waters tonight as the pressure gradient strengthens between the
Tropical Depression Cindy and High pressure over the Eastern Gulf.
Small craft advisories have been issued for the strengthening
south winds. Hazardous marine conditions will continue through at
least Friday and possibly into Saturday before some improvement is
noted. Mariners are advised to continue to consult the latest
coastal waters forecasts while planning excursions along the Lower
Texas Coast.
