Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A surface high will remain nearly stationary far northeast of the
islands through the forecast period. Weakening post-tropical cyclone
Fernanda is expected to weaken to a trough as it passes near or just
north of the islands Sunday night through Monday night. The trough
will move west of Kauai on Tuesday.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

.THIS AFTERNOON and TONIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Wind waves
3 to 6 feet. East swell 4 to 6 feet. Scattered showers.
.SUNDAY through MONDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves
3 to 5 feet. East swell 3 to 5 feet. Scattered showers.
.TUESDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots around Kauai...east 15 to
25 knots elsewhere. Wind waves 3 to 6 feet. East swell 3 to
4 feet. Scattered showers.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 4 to 8 feet.
Scattered showers.
