Florida Bay...Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to
south of Dry Tortugas...and the extreme southeastern Gulf of
Mexico...including The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Seas are given as significant wave height...which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas

.SYNOPSIS...A small surface feature over southeast Florida will
allow for northwest winds over the coastal waters during the
morning and more westerly winds by this afternoon. Relatively
dry air can be seen via satellite over the Keys, and this will
persist through Wednesday. Northeasterly winds and a more
unsettled pattern will develop beginning Thursday and persist
through the end of the week.
