...Rain and snowmelt may cause localized flooding through Tuesday...

...Minor flooding along the Malheur and Weiser Rivers possible
Monday into Tuesday...

Mild and moist conditions over the next couple of days will bring
the threat of localized flooding to portions of southwest Idaho and
southeast Oregon. Areas most susceptible to flooding will be low-
elevation sites where significant amounts of snow remain. Saturated
soils and water levels already elevated on some creeks and rivers
will increase the flood potential. Potential flood impacts include
city streets and parking lots, fields, small creeks and streams, and
low-lying roads. Homes with poor drainage around the foundation may
be at risk for basement flooding.

Lower elevation rivers such as the Weiser River and Malheur
River will see continued rises through Tuesday, increasing the
probability of minor flooding. These rivers will need to be
monitored closely.

Residents and travelers are encouraged to monitor this weather
situation for updates, and possible watches or warnings.
