...Flood Potential Outlook for main stem river flooding and
continued rises on rivers and streams in the following counties in
Oregon...Coos...Curry...Josephine...

.Heavy rain fell across the area during the last 24-36 hours. New
inflows into area creeks, streams and rivers are resulting in rapid
rises. Flooding is expected to occur on the South Fork of the Coquille
River at Myrtle Point, the Coquille River at Coquille and the Rogue
River at Agness later tonight and Thursday. Please refer to any flood
warnings for specific information on flood potential for those river
forecast points.

A flood potential outlook is issued when there is the potential for
significant rises or flooding along rivers and streams. Watches and
warnings may be issued by the National Weather Service as conditions
warrant.
