...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING
THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL ARIZONA...ROUGHLY SOUTH AND
  WEST OF A GRAND CANYON TO FLAGSTAFF LINE FOR AREAS WEST OF
  FLAGSTAFF AND SOUTH OF THE I-40 CORRIDOR EAST OF FLAGSTAFF.

* FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE WILL MOVE INTO PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND
  NORTHERN ARIZONA ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS
  AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME
  STORMS TO PRODUCE RAINFALL RATES GREATER THAN TWO INCHES PER
  HOUR...AS WELL AS PROLONGED PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE
  RAINFALL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT DEVELOPING CONDITIONS MAY LEAD TO
FLASH FLOODING WITHIN THE WATCH AREA.

PEOPLE...ESPECIALLY THOSE LOCATED ALONG AREA CREEKS...RIVERS OR
OTHER FLASH FLOOD PRONE AREAS...SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR LATER
FORECASTS.

BE PREPARED TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS
BE ISSUED.
