...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 AM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN PHILADELPHIA COUNTY...

AT 447 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAS
ALREADY OCCURRED IN PHILADELPHIA. THE PENNYPACK CREEK, LIKE THE
FRANKFORD CREEK HAD SWIFTLY RECEDED WITHIN ITS BANKS.

THERE MAY BE ANOTHER ONE QUARTER INCH OF RAIN BEFORE IT ALL ENDS
AROUND 530 AM.

SOME RESIDUAL RECEDING FLOODING IS POSSIBLE NEAR THE PENNYPACK CREEK
AND ELSEWHERE IN NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA COUNTY AND SO THE WARNING
CONTINUES THROUGH ITS EXPIRATION.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY EXPERIENCE FURTHER FLOODING INCLUDE...
TACONY...HOLMESBURG...CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA AND
WISSINOMING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT ENTER OR CROSS FLOWING WATER OR WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
