The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota...
  West central Lake County in northeastern Minnesota...

* Until 115 AM CDT

* At 915 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash
  flooding is expected to begin shortly. Rainfall in the warned area
  ranges from 1 to 3 inches with another 1 to 3 inches through
  midnight.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Hoyt Lakes, Gilbert, Babbitt, Cherry, Fairbanks, Whyte, Whiteface
  Reservoir, Makinen, Iron Junction, Seven Beaver Lake, Esquagama
  Lake, Murphy Lake, Bassett Lake, Skibo, and Zim.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
