The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Madison County in northwestern Virginia...
  Northwestern Albemarle County in central Virginia...
  Greene County in central Virginia...

* Until 600 PM EDT

* At 243 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the area. Up to two inches of rain have already
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of one inch are possible.
  Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Stanardsville, Free Union, Big Meadows, Mcmullen, Criglersville,
  Boonesville, Etlan, Lydia, Nethers, Haneytown, Syria, Mission Home,
  Banco, Amicus, Fletcher, Graves Mill, Aylor, Saint George, Wolftown
  and Shady Grove.
