.Minor flooding is ongoing or expected along the Mississippi River for
locations near Wabasha...Winona...La Crosse...McGregor...and Guttenberg
Dam 10.

River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast
precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars into flooded areas. Remember, it only takes two
feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility
vehicles. Turn Around, Don`t Drown!

* until Wednesday May 31...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 12.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall...Dropping below flood
  stage Tuesday.
* Impact...At 12.5 feet...Flooding occurs on the soccer field on
  Hiawatha Drive.

  The Mississippi River At Winona.
* until late Saturday night...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  7:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 13.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall...Dropping below flood
  stage Saturday.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Prairie Island Park begins to flood. Pumping
  operations are underway by the city of Winona, and dike patrols are
  started.

  The Mississippi River At La Crosse.
* until Monday afternoon...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 12.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 12.5 feet
  Thursday. The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday
  night.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Pettibone Campground and RV Park is flooded.
  Road access to the north end of the Shore Acres development is
  impacted by flooding. Some lowland flooding occurs in other areas
  near the river.

* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 18.1 feet
  Saturday evening then begin falling.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet...Pumping operations begin at the Prairie du
  Chien waste water treatment facility.

  is cancelled.
* At  8:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 14.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage Thursday evening and continue
  to rise to near 16.0 feet Saturday evening.
* Impact...At 15.5 feet...The water is over Marina Road.
