THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HONOLULU HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR THE ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY

* UNTIL 530 PM HST

* AT 224 PM HST...RADAR SHOWED SLOW MOVING SHOWERS FALLING AT RATES
  OF MORE THAN 1 INCH PER HOUR NEAR PEARL HARBOR AND THE AIRPORT.
  ADDITIONAL HEAVY SHOWERS COULD DEVELOP THROUGH HONOLULU TO DIAMOND
  HEAD THIS AFTERNOON.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
  MANOA...IWILEI...SALT LAKE...WAIMALU...PEARL CITY...KALIHI...
  IROQUOIS POINT...HALAWA...FORT SHAFTER AND AIEA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

STAY AWAY FROM STREAMS...DRAINAGE DITCHES AND LOW LYING AREAS PRONE
TO FLOODING.

RAINFALL AND RUNOFF WILL ALSO CAUSE HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE
TO PONDING...REDUCED VISIBILITY AND POOR BRAKING ACTION.

DO NOT CROSS FAST FLOWING OR RISING WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE OR ON FOOT.
TURN AROUND...DON/T DROWN.
