...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
Indiana...

  East Fork White River...Muscatatuck River...Wabash River...White
  River...

.Widespread lowland flooding continued along the main rivers in
western and southern Indiana. River levels ranged from near flood
stage in the Vincennes, Bedford and Shoals areas to more than 8 foot
above flood stage in the Montezuma area. Late Tuesday morning, the
crest on the Wabash River was at Terre Haute, on the White River near
Edwardsport and on the East Fork White River approaching Bedford.
All river locations in western and southern Indiana will crest by

Flooding closed SR 235 just east of Medora and SR 358 between
Plainville and Edwardsport and was near SR 450 just east of Williams.
Several local river roads were flooded by a foot or more of water.
River flooding also affected extensive bottomlands and local river
parks.

River flooding ended in central Indiana during the past weekend and
will end along the East Fork White River by this weekend. In
southwest Indiana and much of western Indiana, flooding will continue
along the White and Wabash Rivers into next week. Most of the area
will fall below flood stage by Groundhogs Day.

another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
