...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the following
rivers in Texas...
  Brazos River Near Hempstead affecting Austin...Grimes...Waller and Washington
  Counties
  Brazos River Near San Felipe affecting Austin...Fort Bend and Waller Counties
  Brazos River In Richmond affecting Austin...Brazoria...Fort Bend and Waller
  Counties

(optional) affecting the following counties in Texas...Austin...Brazoria...Fort
Bend...Grimes...Waller...Washington

For Brazos River at Hempstead...San Felipe...Richmond, Moderate flooding is
occuring, with Major flooding forecasted.

The current weather is dominated by thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall that
is moving out of the area. Run off will continue through the day.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

 The Brazos River Near Hempstead
* until Monday afternoon...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0500 AM Friday the stage was 53.3 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 50.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 54.1 feet by this afternoon.
  The river will fall below flood stage early Monday morning.
* At 55.0 feet...Major lowland flooding begins.

The Flood Warning continues for
 The Brazos River Near San Felipe
* from this afternoon to Wednesday morning...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0430 AM Friday the stage was 110.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 122.5 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and continue to rise
  to near 129.1 feet by tomorrow early afternoon.the river will fall below flood
  stage by Tuesday evening.
* At 129.3 feet...At levels above 129.3 major lowland flooding begins with the
  east approach to the FM 1458 bridge inundated and the home on the left
  upstream banks is likely flooded.

The Flood Warning continues for
 The Brazos River In Richmond
* from Saturday evening until further notice...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At 0415 AM Friday the stage was 32.3 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 45.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow late evening and continue to
  rise to near 50.0 feet by Tuesday morning.
* At 50.0 feet...Major lowland flooding begins as homes in Richmond begin
  flooding and many homes in Simonton and Thompsons have water in them. FM 1458
  near FM 1093 remains inundated and closed. Homes along Carrol and McKeever
  Roads near FM 2759 in southeast Fort Bend County are close to taking water.
  Strange Drive...Greenwood Drive...and Second Street in Richmond and Sixth
  Street...Avenue B...and River Road in Rosenberg and Pittman Road in Thimpsons
  are inundated with over one foot of water.
