Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
335 PM MDT Sun Mar 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Monday...Decreasing showers tonight with
cooler temperatures and light winds. Southwesterly flow aloft
Monday ahead of the next storm system will bring warmer
temperatures and afternoon high terrain showers. Southeasterly
winds will increase over the plains. Expect good to very good
dispersion across most of the area.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday night through Friday...An unsettled
and moist weather pattern will remain in the forecast through
this upcoming week. Breezy southeast winds will occur on the
plains in advance of a storm system reaching the forecast area
Monday night and Tuesday. However, humidities will stay up with
increasing low level moisture. This next storm system will likely
bring more significant rain and mountain snow over the forecast
area Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Drier weather can be
expected Thursday before the next storm approaches the region
toward Friday.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
