Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
351 PM MDT Fri May 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Saturday...An upper level trough will
move into the forecast area on Saturday. There will decent
moisture for the forecast area Saturday along with a chance of
wetting rains. Temperatures will be well below seasonal normals on
Saturday.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...High
pressure building over the western U.S. will bring warmer and
drier conditions Sunday and early next week. There should be
enough moisture and instability for afternoon and evening showers
and thunderstorms. Most of these will be over the higher terrain.
Due to the high pressure system, winds will be light Sunday and
early next week.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
