Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
449 AM EST Sun Feb 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will continue building into the region this morning
and be centered over the area this afternoon. This will keep
cooler and dry air in place...however with a weak pressure
gradient winds will be light and variable. The situation will
change on Monday as a frontal system moves toward the area. Rain
chances will return to the area late Monday and remain over the
region through early Thursday when the next cold front will cross
the region. With a dry air mass over the region fog is not
expected tonight.
