Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
321 AM EDT Fri Jul 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will bring dry weather and light winds
today, and allow lake breezes to develop and progress inland this
afternoon. Conditions will be warm and humid however, with
temperatures topping out in the mid 80s to near 90. There is then a
good chance for a round of rain and thunderstorms to impact at least
a portion of Southeast Michigan very late tonight into Saturday.
Strong storms and very heavy rainfall will be possible. Additional
showers and thunderstorms may occur late Saturday through Sunday as
low pressure tracks through the area. Winds outside of thunderstorms
should not have a big impact on fire weather interests through the
weekend.
