Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
230 PM CST Wed Nov 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Dry conditions will persist across northern Alabama over the next
several days, as high pressure dominates the weather pattern.
Northerly flow will continue through the day on Thursday, with
minimum RH values dropping into the 30 to 35 percent range. Winds
will then shift to the south on Friday, filtering in slightly more
moisture. Thus minimum RH values will rise into the 35 to 40
percent range. Mixing heights will rise to around 2500 feet both
Thursday and Friday and transport winds will remain below 5 mph.
This will create poor to generally poor dispersion conditions each
day. No rain is forecast through the middle of the next work
week.

Fog potential over the next few days: None at this time.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
