FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
FOR NORTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON NC
501 AM EDT THU APR 24 2014

.DISCUSSION...
DRY HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE OFFSHORE TONIGHT AND FRIDAY. IT WILL
BE WARMER AND MORE HUMID FRIDAY...WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT WHICH WILL CROSS THE AREA
FRIDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE WILL ONCE AGAIN BUILD INTO THE AREA FOR
THE WEEKEND WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. UNSETTLED WEATHER
CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP EARLY IN THE NEW WORK WEEK AND LIKELY PERSIST
FOR A FEW DAYS AS LOW PRESSURE MOVES SLOWLY EAST...PUSHING A COLD
FRONT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY.

WIND PROFILE ANALYSIS/FIRE CONTROL OVER FLAT TERRAIN IS FAVORABLE.

FOG POTENTIAL FOR TONIGHT...MODERATE.
