FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN
524 AM CDT THU AUG 28 2014

.DISCUSSION...
MIDDLE TN WILL REMAIN UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE
OF HIGH PRESSURE WHICH STRETCHES FROM NRN FL NW TOWARD MIDDLE TN.
STILL THOUGH...ELEVATED MOISTURE LEVELS WILL BE JUST HIGH ENOUGH
ACROSS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE HIGHLAND RIM SO AS TO ALLOW AN
ISOLATED TSTM OR TWO THIS AFTERNOON.

AS WE MOVE INTO FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...THE RIDGE WILL RELAX AND
MOISTURE WILL RETURN FROM THE SOUTH. THIS WILL RESULT IN AN
INCREASE IN SHOWER AND TSTM ACTIVITY. UPPER RIDGING AND DRIER AND
WARMER CONDITIONS WILL REGAIN CONTROL BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
