FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST VIRGINIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHARLESTON WV
741 PM EDT MON SEP 22 2014

.DISCUSSION...
CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD INTO THE AREA
TONIGHT...BRINGING A VERY COOL AND MOSTLY CLEAR NIGHT. VALLEY FOG
WILL FORM BY DAYBREAK FOR THE LOWLANDS. AN EARLY SEASON FROST IS
EVEN POSSIBLE FOR THE HIGH SHELTERED VALLEY LOCATIONS OF THE CENTRAL
AND NORTHERN MOUNTAINS OF WEST VIRGINIA...WHERE TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED TO DROP INTO THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 30S.

ANOTHER BROAD HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE DRY WEATHER
FROM THE GREAT LAKES REGION...OHIO VALLEY...WEST VIRGINIA...AND THE
MID ATLANTIC STATES TUESDAY...THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. THE FALL
LIKE WEATHER WILL PROVIDE MILD AFTERNOONS AND COOL NIGHTS FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE WEEK AS HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS IN CONTROL.
