Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
353 PM EDT Thu Apr 27 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will fire west of the Blue
Ridge this evening as a low pressure system passes to the north.
This activity should dissipate over the Piedmont by midnight on
Friday. High pressure will build off the Southeast coast during
the next few days to bring well above normal temperatures.
Recent rainfall will keep fire weather concerns low through the
rest of this week.
