Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
612 AM CST Sun Feb 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop and move into
the area by mid to late afternoon today and will affect much of
the area through the overnight hours and much of Monday. A couple
of severe storms cannot be ruled out late this afternoon and
tonight. After a brief break, thunderstorms will become likely
again Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning, including the
chance for more severe weather. Minimum relative humidity values
today may still drop below 30 percent across portions of Southern
Arkansas and North Central Louisiana. However, low level moisture
will quickly stream northward late this afternoon and relative
humidity values should remain well above 50 percent areawide
Monday and Tuesday.
