.DISCUSSION...A spring storm system will move through the area
today, with abundant moisture falling across Northeast Wyoming,
the Black Hills area, and across southern South Dakota. Snowfall
up to several inches is expected over most of Northeast Wyoming,
the Black Hills and portions of the western South Dakota plains by
midday. Higher amounts of snow, around 6 inches, are likely over
the higher elevations of the northern Black Hills and Bear Lodge
Mountains. A dry day is expected on Wednesday, but unsettled
weather will return for Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will
stay below average through the rest of the week.
